Position size calculator

How the position size calculator works
Position sizing turns a stop loss into a fixed amount of risk. Decide what share of your account one trade may lose (most traders use 0.5–2%), then size the trade so hitting the stop costs exactly that.
Formula: position size = (balance × risk %) ÷ (distance to stop × value per point). For forex the distance is counted in pips and the value is the pip value per lot; for futures, ticks and tick value; for stocks and crypto, one unit moves one-for-one with price.
